The Flowerless Kingdom by Tiffany Shafran.
Tiffany Shafran explores the concept of being an eternal wanderer as a way to create personalised artefacts. Her interdisciplinary practice investigates the theme of collection, travel, discovery and the psyche. Her work presents an open ended narrative which contains characters, scenes, artefacts and correspondence from a world yet to be discovered.
Tiffany Shafran was born in California, USA. She won the prestigious Caldwell- Merit Scholarship to attend the North Carolina State University School of Design. She has also studied at RMIT, Melbourne, QCA, Brisbane and is currently completing a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) at the University of Southern Queensland, Toowoomba. She has travelled extensively throughout her life and has exhibited nationally and internationally.
